Maeci Crotts, a proud descendant of the Muscogee Nation and Cherokee Nation, embodies a deep commitment to Native American empowerment and education. With a solid academic foundation, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Human Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Native American Studies from the esteemed University of Oklahoma. Currently, she is furthering her academic journey by pursuing a Master of Arts in Human Relations with a distinguished emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Strategic Impact.

As a fervent advocate for her community, Maeci is actively engaged in various leadership roles and extracurricular activities. A distinguished member of Gamma Delta Pi, a Native American Sorority, she has demonstrated her dedication to cultural preservation and community service. Throughout her undergraduate years, Maeci dedicated herself to volunteering and working tirelessly within the OU Native American community, leaving a lasting impact through her compassionate leadership and unwavering commitment.

Maeci's exemplary academic achievements have garnered her prestigious accolades, including being named the 2022 Sorority Chapter President of the Year and the 2022 Outstanding Greek Senior by the University of Oklahoma. Her outstanding contributions to campus life and her exceptional leadership skills have been recognized and celebrated within the university community.

As a 2022-2023 Andrew W. Mellon Fellow, Maeci has had the privilege of engaging in advanced research and academic pursuits, further enhancing her expertise in the field of Human Relations. This fellowship not only reflects her academic prowess but also underscores her dedication to scholarly inquiry and intellectual growth.

Driven by her passion for nurturing the next generation of Native American leaders, Maeci devotes herself to providing a support system for Native American youth. Through her extensive teaching experience, she has conducted numerous classes for individuals aged 7 to 24, covering diverse topics such as beading, traditional stories, and Native American historical curriculum. With a specialization in education and youth services, complemented by her academic background in Tribal presentations and curriculum development, Maeci is uniquely equipped to make a meaningful impact on the lives of Indigenous youth.

In her role as a Research Specialist and Youth Specialist for our Native American Consulting company, Maeci brings a wealth of academic excellence, leadership experience, and a heartfelt dedication to empowering Indigenous communities. With her unwavering commitment to education, advocacy, and community service, Maeci is poised to drive positive change and make a lasting impact in the field of Native American studies and youth development.
