In 2017, Chantay partnered with the Heartland Institute of Financial Education (HIFE) to become a Certified Financial Educator®. Her dedication to financial literacy led her to teach workshops across Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, benefiting numerous community centers, local unions, school districts, and corporations. Beyond her work with HIFE, Chantay owns a successful financial planning practice with WealthWave, the HowMoneyWorks Company, where since 2013, she has taken a personalized and straightforward approach to financial education and planning.

Recognizing a specific need within Native American communities, Chantay launched Native American Financial Literacy Services (NAFLS) in January 2019. NAFLS aims to provide tailored financial literacy programs and resources, fostering a supportive environment for financial empowerment through education and personalized planning services.

Chantay's academic accomplishments are equally impressive, holding a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Roosevelt University and an MBA from Grand Canyon University. Her commitment to her community is evident in her volunteer work, serving as President of the Board for the American Indian Center of Chicago and a Board Member for Chicago Women in Trades.

Her professional credentials are extensive, holding Series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, and state Life & Health Insurance licenses across multiple states. As a Certified Financial Educator® and a certified College Consultant, Chantay has facilitated over 250 Financial Literacy workshops for various Native organizations, illustrating her unwavering dedication to financial education and empowerment.
